Good Friday
Well we all know the religious meaning behind Good Friday and Easter, but the important thing is the time off work! I often hear people asking the question of why Easter falls on such a variety of dates, so I Googled it:
“Easter Sunday is the Sunday following the Paschal Full Moon (PFM) date for the year. In June 325 A.D. astronomers approximated astronomical full moon dates for the Christian church, calling them Ecclesiastical Full Moon (EFM) dates. From 326 A.D. the PFM date has always been the EFM date after March 20 (which was the equinox date in 325 A.D.).” (source)

Good Friday meant no work so I ended up sorting some odds and sods, drinking tea and nattering on MSN. It was a sunny day so decided to get the push bike out and explore some corner locally I’ve never ventured before, unfortunately I couldn’t think of any where, possibly due to the fact that I’ve roamed every square inch of this god forsaken town or, more likely, I couldn’t think of a place I don’t know exists, so went to the gym instead. Following that I nipped in for some fun and frolics round at Chain’s, Center of DIY for IT Professionals, Rahl was on board offering his share of expertise and enthusiasm. A cup of tea and a promise of return to partake in a session of Guitar Hero on the big screen, I wandered to find prandial satisfaction…
