What can I say? I have been locked in conversation about the relevance of a certain property on the Isle of Wight, maybe it’s time to act… Although recent circumstances may have delayed the inevitable move into a more accommodating residence, all is not lost. Certain anxieties were raised with the ingestion of some disagreeable substance that was supposed to improve my mental and physical attitude only for it to blow up in my face and prove to me, I was OK in the first place. So I’ve turned it around and will be looking for a more positive outcome in the very near future.

Everything seems to have gone into slow motion…! I all of a sudden don’t have enough money to do anything, have no time to get things done and interestingly, I have lost a bit of enthusiasm, why this is I’m not 100% sure but I have some sort of clue. Hmmm…
Anyway went to a Ninjutsu class last night, pretty good actually, it’s Budjinken although almost exactly the same as the other style I did 10 years ago with the Shinobi Kai Dojo. As a result today I ache and have a couple of bruises and a dodgey back from where I landed wrong from a throw. My cars is due for its MOT tomorrow, had hub bearing fitted today and welding yesterday, my Dad is gonna fit me a new indicator stalk, then all thats required is a bulb for the number plate, it’s a retest so almost guaranteed to pass. So with the exhaust and tyres I’ve spent close to 350 quid to get it through, its probably only worth that but I don’t give a crap, it’s only a car and if it lasts a year thats bloody cheap motoring.

Thought I’d skive off today, wahey! I have some holiday imminent but feel as my boss Barry is on his hols along with Jon the the plumber and I’m being given any old crap, it’s time for a break.

And I quote:
.
Skive is British slang for avoiding work by staying away or leaving early; it’s often heard in the form skive off; US readers may find it in British works such as the more recent ones in the Harry Potter series. It seems to have been military slang from the time of the First World War and the common assumption is that the British army in France borrowed it from French esquiver, to slink away. The usual caveats apply, since that origin is informed guesswork, and there is another possibility an English dialect verb meaning to move quickly.
