I can usually tell when I’m a bit fed up as I keep moaning on my blog, but it’s kind of therapeutic. And I apologise to Jon the plumber who had to endure my moaning real time last night and I will still have another look at that transformation of formula thing he was showing me but unfortunately my head was so far up my arse that I looked no different than normal! I was going to go to Blackpool just for the crack this weekend (not the cocaine type!), but I need to buy the kiddies their school uniforms so that will need to wait for another time.

Guess what? I’m back with nothing of any significance to write about. One day I may write a book but hopefully before my liver bursts out from my abdomen and lies quivering on the carpet. I have had correspondence from my old consultant Dr. Lee at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery in London about my Phenylketonuria, I have made the decision that I’m a bit of a weird case and cannot possibly hold down a full time job and manage my dietary needs etc. inclusive of other details in my life I need to get a grip with. Unfortunately I may upset somebody along the way but I’m sorry, I need to do this otherwise I am going to be a very ill man. Oh and hello Helen 😉

I am absolutely crap at this thing known as life… Or am I? Here I sit contemplating and wondering why everybody else is carrying on in the said fashion. To be perfectly honest I would commit murder as this present time, unfortunately I don’t know anybody I want to kill. Pointless rambling I’m sure but hey! I’m off to see someone I really get along with, so catch up with you later…

This is a bastard! What ever you do, do not injure your kidney… I can’t even fart without buckling up in pain! And it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Apart from that I’ve done nothing else in particular, I actually completed Jade’s laptop this weekend and she is chuffed to bits, albeit just a Pentium 2 500Mhz with 128Mb of Ram, we installed Windows 98 so it could chug along quite nicely which it did. Somehow really liked working with 98 again as apposed to XP, you seem to have more control. Her next venture is to connect it to the internet, I’m sure that will not be problem as I have been reliably informed that Windows 98 can do anything including wake you up in the morning with a cup of tea. Anyway Bank Holiday and all that so I’m off to do whatever it is you do on bank holidays? bfn.

Guess what? More time off work! Was at Ninjutsu Tuesday night and was thrust into an unexpecting Gan Seki Nagi (Twisting Hip Throw), I was a little cack handed on this night and ended up 3 foot in the air only to have my fall broken by my left kidney. So a visit to A&E determined that there was no blood in my urine and kidney function was normal though kidney and surrounding tissue severely bruised, so in pain I ventured into the office to give them the news and my previous day’s paperwork. Pain killers seem to help and was prescribed Diazepam which monged me out just a bit and ended up falling asleep on Chain’s settee whilst watching a film I had no idea what was about. Anyway back to work tomorrow, will still be fragile so I’ve asked my manager Barry to give me light duties as apposed to heavy lifting or climbing ladders, through lofts etc. He also informed me Jon the plumber is off with a bad back too, I appreciate the sympathy Jon!
Anyway I have the day off and intend to do something useful now the Diazepam has worn off, my friend Mel has asked me why I have no pictures of the kids on my site, which is a good question but easily answered, and the answer is I have no idea what theme my site should take, most of it is just experimental, I was intending writing about phenylketonuria (PKU) and my own experiences in dealing with the condition but for some reason I just don’t have the attention or focus to be able to get into it. Ironically the reason for this is most likely because of the PKU! I have put myself back on the diet now for real, this will improve my attention as I have noticed times before – Infact I will contact the Metabolic Clinic at the Neurological Hospital now to book an appointment.

Had correspondence from my ex on the Isle of Wight who wants to sell the house I have my name to as she has missed 3 mortgage payments and they have said they may repossess, she’s asked me to sign some papers and provide ID. OK, but I know what a manipulative cow she can be so I’ve said to her I need to get advice first and since she has been sending me text after text saying how she can’t believe I’d do this to her and if she loses the house it will be on my head too… Exactly my point I thought!
Anyway enough of that, bought a drum kit last Saturday which is now set up in the cellar!!! Jade has had a bash and seems to be a bit of a natural. Had a really bad couple of days at work as over did it over weekend (as usual) and just getting it back together now, Chain has bogged off to Skegness to meet Windy Miller or something so the radio has been quiet during the day, spoke to Angel today briefly as I was off to work in Bexhill.

Popped up Butt’s Brow last night to meet Angel and Chain with a new HF antenna, no luck though with any QSO’s as all seemed pretty flat. Back for a cuppa tea and a mag on Linux to be explored very soon. Today I was in East Grinstead, quite an ordinary day trying to make sense of people’s troubles with heating systems. Not much else to report except my birthday tomorrow and will be sparking up the BBQ and maybe some beers too, all equally welcome.
