Easy Level?
Rahl insisted on playing the Ace of Spades on the easy level:

So Chain had the challenge to play along with the guitar behind his head!

It’s been quite a weird weekend, Friday went to Adam’s with Cam… with the aroma of a very cheesey lasagne we contemplated the rough edges of the world we are currently inhabiting, plus a few other subjects to boot. Saturday was a chill out day checking over my Sister’s new house and then Guitar Hero round Chains (pics above) on the projector thingy…(Video to come).
Sunday over to Hastings…

Got a new effects processor for my guitar, put a pick up on my acoustic, seems to work ok, will do till I get an electric anyhow. Also won that Marshall Valvestate amp on ebay, was delivered today but no bugger was in! I’ll pick it up tomorrow from the Hailsham depot. interested to find out just how far gone this amp is, hoping the Power Amp stage is ok and the screaching problem is down to dodgey pots or something. I’m quite sure the pots on those amps are quite standard PCB mount jobbies. It’s an anniversary today, exactly 20 years since I passed my driving test! It’s amazing how little can be achieved in such a long period of time.

Odd weekend! On Call but decided to hire a car, Brighton during the day, Why? I haven’t the foggiest! Today the sun was shining, woohoo! So drove up to Butts Brow (South Downs Area) for a wander, and wander I did. Thing is as it was the only sunny day so far this year, everyone else decided to go there too. Butts Brow used to be a quiet, almost unheard of little retreat for a minority and the occasional couples without a bedroom. Unfortunately now I had trouble parking being overwhelmed by 4X4’s and people wandering in green wellies, after parking I eventually realised the logic behind wearing Wellington Boots, just not green ones? Or maybe you need a 4X4 and a £350,000 mortgage before you’re eligible to wear them, who knows?
Anyway, the rest was quite uneventful, had to walk on the grass as the beaten track was muddy as heck, just had to keep an eager eye out for the piles of dogshit though, which I seemed to manage to avoid. Back home, gave Jade a lift into town with her mate, had a call from my Sis’ who had water pouring through the ceiling, turns out a flexy had burst under the bath and it was flooding the hallway bigtime, so cut off the mains supply and turned off the power, the rest is down to the agency…so I exit. Popped into see Chain and Angel for a cuppa tea and a demo of the net on the Nintendo Wii…Cool Bananas. And anything else is yet to happen!

Another (un)interesting venture into the realms of the mundane landscape that is my life…
Today? Work! Boo!!! And was that the sun I saw this afternoon after about 1.30PM? I thought I’d got too close to the PVC solvent cement before actually realising that I wasn’t in a hallucinogenic state.
Mel’s boiler sorted. She’s now a happy bunny. No more excuses for being cold and smelly!
Anything else? No…

Maybe, but I aint gonna be ringing the bell just yet!
Hello…Not another entry? Thats 3 in as many days, what is going on? Don’t ask me I have the answers to absolutely nothing.
Popped round Mel’s last night as her boiler has packed in again. Last May I replaced the PCB and it seems its the same problem! Hmmm…So onto Parts Centre and they have agreed to replace the PCB FOC. Which is quite amazing to be honest, not only that they had one on the shelf, all I had to do was remove the old one return it and they’d hand over the new one. Gave Mel the news, she said her hubby’s in all day so I pop by in between jobs, bang on the door, no answer, ok then. Had no choice but to return to my duties and pop in at the end of the day and remove the old PCB, only problem was it was 5pm and Parts Centre were shut, oh well… Had a blood test today checking liver and kidney function and checking out my thyroid so those results will be interesting.
Er, got my guitar pick up through today and no joy with Paypal yet so I can’t pay for the effects processor, bastards! Been looking at guitar amps,a very nice Marshall Valvestate for 20 quid! Yes 20 quid, only thing is its broken but it will be a cool project if I win it…4 days to go. Looks like I’ve been ripped off for £115.99 by some tosser on ebay, thats three times in one year. Just got to be careful as need to accumulate dosh for house.
Will have to add some spark to this site soon as its a tad on the shite side.
