Watch out Watch out…there’s a bald man about!
Hmmm…Saturday, an odd day! Chatted on radio to Chain a bit and out of the blue a bald man materialised on my doorstep! So I invited him in and made him coffee and chatted about his Job working with Autistic Teenagers, hats off to the bloke (he does wear one quite often, especially in the sun) I couldn’t deal with that sorta thing myself and I grew up in it with my brother who’s severely mentally handicapped. Still he seems to be enjoying his role, although working too many hours…
I promised my Daughter I’d pay for her to have her hair done today so I rang round a few hairdressers to enquire about prices and make an appointment. Soon afterwards I woke up with a lump on my head, stars before my eyes glaring at the ceiling, which has recently been re-skimmed and looks worse than it did before, why is it Women’s hair cost sooo much? The bald man drinking coffee in my kitchen made a valid point, “£72.00??? I dont spend that much on my hair in 5 Yrs!” Point taken, but does that exclude all the sun cream in the summer? So that afternoon took Kayleigh and her mate into town, picked up another of her mates from work, see I can get three in the van Mrs. Chelsea Tractor! And threw them into the Salon with a three hour (hahaha) escapade of kerotein therapy and inhaling hydrogen peroxide fumes (which apparently is being banned in public places form March next year).
I Popped into see Chain and it seems he’s having trouble with his antennas… (antennae?) …aerials and was fiddling around with his co-ax. Had a cuppa tea and zoomed off shopping. Had a pint then back upto get Kayleigh from the Hairdressers. Lost a considerable amount of weight in a relitively short period of time in the realms of folding stuff and Kayleigh popped off into town, I went home.
Evening Kayleigh and her mate stayed over, got a phonecall from Jade my other daughter saying I was out of order saying I didn’t have any money and then spending that on Kayleigh’s head. Fact is everyone knew I was paying for her haircut this weekend and had done for 4 weeks or so??? So I couldn’t quite get my head round that one, must be a Matriarchal fuelled female thing going on behind the scenes. Watched a coupla DVD’s, one called Death Tunnel which was very surreal (a word often enjoyed by the likes of Chain) but visually quite good.
