I’m a Ninja!

To be honest I’m more of a Ninja than most, people who know me will understand! Wahey!!! Well another day another entry, I ache today, overdid it at the gym Friday but thats good. I now have a muscle somewhere, I’m sure I saw it the other day so maybe going to the gym is paying off. 5000 Meters in 23 mins, rowing, not great but hey, good enough for me, had a text from my Brother today who just did 5000 meters in 21 mins 10 secs, which is going some. Mind you he has a free gym at work so able to keep fitter than me, oh and he doesn’t glug through god knows how many units of alcahol a week either. Rang Maria this morning who found it necessary to bounce around until her back went out yesterday. She’s ok, walking around now and no spinal damage. Haven’t heard about Luke the Sinatra singer who was in intensive care after a car crash, hope he’s getting better.

Hmmm…Done sod all really, spoke to Chain and will be commencing lessons in programming/web design 9am Wednesday morning (note to self: buy an A4 pad) I spend far too long on the PC and acheive at the best of times, bugger all. Browsing ebay and watching Ask a Ninja is all good fun but it’s teaching me nothing. I could actually use the time I spend on the PC in a much more creative fashion, and hey, you never know, maybe make a few quid.

Didn’t go for the weekly beer with Cam this Friday, he’s not too well and he’s got a strange shaped right arm, get better soon mate 😉 Nothing on the work front but it is a Sunday, I reckon I’ll be working within 2 weeks, need to be as I have to fund the annual BBQ on my birthday, all readers welcome, unless you have some kind of psycopathic disorder and enjoy grilling people’s testicles. Erm…indeed, not much else really, it’s windy and 18.7 degrees centigrade, might listen to some music, might not. My Daughter Kayleigh was just speaking to me on MSN and started going all teenage on me so I cut that short…err can anyone donate £1,000 to me would be nice, may even set up a donate button on the sidebar for a laugh, I know it works as I donated to Chains blog a while ago…Leave it there I think, take care all.

Bouncy Bouncy!

It seems everyone is having mishaps, out for a beer with the old man yesterday and a guy, only 19 yrs old who sings Frank Sinatra live in the pub and is the Son of the owner was involved in a car crash 3am Friday morning and is now in Intensive Care, today my Sisiter In Law (nearly) was bouncing on the trampoline at my Sisters’ and seriously done her back in. I felt really sorry for her and wish her a speedy recovery, she was carried off in an Ambulance, not to serious we hope, fingers crossed…

Other news, not much, currently got a few agencies in contact for some more suitable work. Now listening to the new album by Muse, Matt Bellamy (Head man in Muse,Guitarist and Vocals) is quite close to the family, his Dad is Georgie who made the first British number one in America in the sixties with Telstar, He gave me a guitar lesson once when I was 12 yrs old, now his Son is probably a millionaire and Muse are Bloody Huge! Haven’t met him but good freinds to his cousins’ Chris and Simon (Bellamy of course). Somehow I missed out, but hey, I wont ponder on that.

Feeling quite good at the moment, bored of life as usual but just need some work to set the books straight, it WILL come my way. I have been told to have clarity this weekend and be confident and things will come my way. This is so true. Nothing is impossible, the world we live in has been built on human desire and alot of blood and sweat! Just need to keep this positive attitude and I can acheive the stuff that made us what we are today.

Hoping my positive outlook rubs off on the important people in my life, you know who you are, sometimes things get tough and you need to grit your teeth and just ride it out. Life Sucks! We all know it.

Alan Titchmarsh Give Us A Hand Mate….

Just had a good look at the garden….Holy Shit! Erm, weeds? Yes, dead plants? A few, the lawn is not only growing up it’s growing outwards, amongst the beds. This garden is my Mum’s pride and joy and under the current circumstances it would have been best to keep it under control. My Nephew had the job of watering and I haven’t seen him for dust, maybe he thought he could have had water fights with the hosepipe. Currently here in the south of England there is a hosepipe ban, I think that means you’re not allowed to use one as apposed to actually own one, there hasn’t been a national hosepipe amnesty enforced by the police for as long as I can remember. So I’ve been popping round with a watering can when I have the time. This weekend looks like it will be out in the sunshine in shorts, gardening…Wahey!

Ok, Problem Solved I Believe…

OK, time to add an entry to my blog, before it all goes tits up again!!! I’d changed all the attributes to the files on my webserver all to the same value not realising there were different attributes for various files, I did this as I feared someone might infiltrate my blog and write something of interest, what I did was intended to close all the files and set them to read only, which worked except not even I could get in there and the web page threw up some bizarre error message. After minutes of fiddling swapping files from an archive I have on my hard drive, I consulted the powers of the insurmountable Chain. Actually it was him who pointed out the error whilst I was buggering it all up in the first place, good timing. Well it’s all back now and as I sit here with the side of my face throbbing like a…large thing that throbs alot, I consider the consequences of my actions over the past 2 weeks…and I chuckle.

Wimbledon Tennis this week, which I can watch, I’m not addicted to it to the point where I have to watch game after game, but I do like to have it on in the background. Unlike football that just irritates me beyond control, if I walk into a pub and a football game is on, not world cup tho btw but some dreary league game on a dismal sunday afternoon, with a group of smelly old men sitting at the bar staring in silence, one hand on thigh, the other gripping a pint of bitter still on the bar, I’d leave. Dunno what it is about football that really cheeses me off…not cheesey footballs surely?

On another note I am now actively seeking employment and will be going for what I want to do as apposed to what pays well. No point in a good salary if you dread getting up to earn it. I’ll leave it there otherwise the post will get too long, it’s already boring and will gradually deteriorate from here i’m sure.
