HAPPY NEW YEAR…?
January 1st, 2008
As we enter a new year we tread further into the realms of uncertainty, will 2008 create a miracle and actually give the British people hope? ..err, no! As things have been spiraling downhill for this country since Thatcher they will continue to do so unfortunately, me I’m ok, I don’t own sod all. But there are millions of us who have adopted a comfortable lifestyle, something that in our imaginations, cannot be taken away. The thought of downgrading because of world economic turmoil seems to some to be ludicrous because of the power of borrowing, it is a downward spiral. I can guarantee a record rise in repossessions this year with the dark grey suspicion and undertones of the beginning of recession.
Sorry to make the first entry of 2008 a bit gloomy, but there really is no point glossing it over.

I sometimes wonder about comments like this and find it strange that most (not all) come from people either with nothing to lose or from those who take great enjoyment from making as much as possible from people who feel they have nothing.
Yes I have lots of gadgets and stuff and a house.. So? I have worked hard for them and will continue to do so.. Is that so wrong? The stuff I do is pretty much ok I would not for instance work in the chemical industry or with anything or anybody who I consider is ripping someone/something off.
The gouverment is crap and always will be as it makes its ever doownward spiral to a US style ecomeny.. Thats going to happen.. Me I’m doing my own thing and making my own way I figure when I decide the UK is totally shagged I’ll just move on maybe to Europe.. I’m not set on staying here for ever and I know my materialistic ways are wrong.. But I work hard and I do like gadgets..
Anyway Happy New Year, although from your opening statement it seems you are doomed to fail on that score.

ok just to go with topic i sought of see it as i own my house yes but if i did`nt i would still be renting so either way i pay the morgage even if it goes up more will still be cheaper than rent per month as for content as long as i can keep my wife and daughter i could`nt care less. ok wifes in good books at the moment could change when balief was to turn up lol.. but yes looks like this yr will be hard and the first hit will be people who took out the massive morgages that are on their fanancial limit unfortunatly banks were very happy to do that, my first morgage the guy new i was gunna struggle yet he worked the figures to work , luckily have plenty equity so even if shit did kick hard i would walk away with enough to cushion the divorce when my mrs`s kicks me hard after lol .. all in all i don`t worry some of my best times were had when i had fuck all life goes on shit happens 🙂 will just give me more reason to fecking moan lol

also to add one more thing is that it`s generally the people who have less and worked dog hard that lose the most, the common man working class mr man down the pub, when ok this is gunna sound bad maybe i would sometimes like to see mr i don`t live in the real world, theres nothing wrong in my country, crime ? afraid to walk a city street haven`t got a f..ing clue sort of guy that could do with the kick in the ass and taste the real world guess then i could maybe raise a slight grin.. but of course done in a nice f**k you sort of way 😛

I guess “mr i don`t live in the real world, theres nothing wrong in my country” probably wouldn’t get your point, hence the way he is.

ooh i know that m8t what i mean is shame things when they pinch never seem to effect the people who can either soak it up or deserve a swift kick to the nads.. sort of seen it first hand in some ways my dad worked all his life for a nest egg put alot into the asian stock market he took the number 3 bus to a better place and left my mum comfy then bank over night she lost it all .. so one worked a life time for fuck all and the other gets a retirment with nxt to fuck all … always hits the wrong people … took him 65 yrs to figure that you get no praise or reward for breaking your back..
