40?
Felt the urge to write something as I’m reasonably happy for a change. I seem to come across to be a depressive mentalist according to this blog, fair game, but I do have my good moments. Actually got a bargain on Ebay, an oscilloscope for eight and a half quid, and it works! (for now). Looking into a change in career and currently deaf as a post! Have an appointment 11 July to have an op to fix the lug’oles. My Sister is 40 next week and having a bash at Strollers in Princes Park, all family and friends invited so will be a bloody good evening, if you know me and haven’t received an invite just get in touch unless my sister didn’t invite you because you’re a twat.
Nothing else desperately exciting to write about (nothing new there then), so I’ll just bog off.

Money? What’s That?
Had another set back yesterday on my mission to vacate my current accommodation, seems Abbey (bank) have forgotten an agreement we made on settling an account and handed it over to some quite blood thirsty debt collection agent! I am not very tactful when I have some Twatty Oik telephoning me and demanding a ridiculous sum of money there and then, especially when they lie to you about your rights, tell you it’s pointless contacting Abbey as it’s now in the hands of the collection agents. They told me my account had been closed, so I asked them where all the money I have been paying (as agreed) has been going and they then tell me I need to contact Abbey (huh! did you not just tell me contacting them was pointless?) and in the meantime pay the outstanding sum in full,Yeah Right! Oh and interestingly when I mentioned to them that a lump of the sum was bank charges of which I am going to be disputing, they decided to let me know Abbey had agreed that if I payed the amount off in total, they would waive 440 pounds!
Anyway enough moaning, bought a new radio, Yaesu FT-2800M, seems pretty good, will be putting it in the motor over the weekend, I have an antenna just need the mount which I’ll be ordering online tonight.
That’s about it, I’m off to put my head through a mincer.

One Day I Will Be Free!
Not much point in making an entry today. Not bad day at work though stepping over all the other trades was quite irritating. Still fed up with no space, I gain some scrap of enthusiasm to get on and do something and it all gets washed away when I remember I have no RooM! It is true to say I do not function when I have 3cm squared of worktop/floor/storage space and it has to be multipurpose otherwise I would be getting dressed in the street. Actually, I’m now seeing it as quite pathetic, I came from the Isle of Wight and a very large house all open plan with several areas that could be adapted for anything that needed to be done to a poxy 6′ 6″ x 8′ (into the recess!) room. Downgraded? A little. So what is it I am supposed to do here apart from get the hell out?!
There are lots of things I don’t bark on about here that affect my everyday well being, mainly because it involves people who may one day read this and it is true to say that this, albeit dragging on a bit, is a temporary state I am living in and therefore wouldn’t be a true representation of my feelings towards certain people. Nonetheless my patience is tried and although I try to keep a lid on my disappointment I am becoming a little more bitter and somewhat more cynical day by day.

Double Yellows?
Got final payment from weekend job, car is up and running after it was stranded outside the pub for a week immobilised, had to scour the net for info on how to bypass the immobiliser as I didn’t want to give Ford’s garage in excess of 200 pounds to sort it for me, didn’t have alot of luck but found a pcb with a couple of relays on and bypassed the one that seemed to be stopping me from starting the damn thing and Vrooom! So up yours Birchwood Ford you robbing arseholes!
Also more good luck! (Yes it is still me on the keyboard) I disputed a parking ticket a couple of months ago when I left my van outside a job in Lewes, I had forgotten all about it until I get a letter today from East Sussex County Council stating that an error was made by the parking attendant and I wasn’t parked on double yellow lines. Penalty canceled and an apology, woohoo!
Weird! i’m sure I added a post yesterday, that means 2 in 2 days… Blimey!

What Happened To The Weekend?
Odd weekend as I was actually working most of it, Saturday put in a combi boiler for some guy who’s been badgering me for a while. Got my brother involved as I’m not properly kitted out for installation and it’s nice to have the proper tools to hand. The guy who had the work done insisted we finish it in a day, including decommissioning an old back boiler, ripping out all old pipework including cylinder and rerouting pipes under floor, so he could have hot water for the evening, this was a pretty tall order, so we started early and worked our arses off, as always there were snags, so we did not complete it that evening, I promised I would be back next morning to complete gas run, discharge pipework and install condensate pump which I did, with no hassle what-so-ever and it all tested fine. I have been on emergency call out too and was anxious about being dragged off, but no calls came!
Nothing else really going on, watched a film at the cinema, “Next” with Nicholas Cage, quite good to be honest. Saw the girls for the first time in over a week as they’ve been to Butlins…WooHoo!!! Kayleigh called it Chav Central and played games to spot the Chavviest of the Chavs, had a flick about on the radio etc. work tomorrow so I’m gonna bog off.
