OK, time to add an entry to my blog, before it all goes tits up again!!! I’d changed all the attributes to the files on my webserver all to the same value not realising there were different attributes for various files, I did this as I feared someone might infiltrate my blog and write something of interest, what I did was intended to close all the files and set them to read only, which worked except not even I could get in there and the web page threw up some bizarre error message. After minutes of fiddling swapping files from an archive I have on my hard drive, I consulted the powers of the insurmountable Chain. Actually it was him who pointed out the error whilst I was buggering it all up in the first place, good timing. Well it’s all back now and as I sit here with the side of my face throbbing like a…large thing that throbs alot, I consider the consequences of my actions over the past 2 weeks…and I chuckle.<\/p>\n
Wimbledon Tennis this week, which I can watch, I’m not addicted to it to the point where I have to watch game after game, but I do like to have it on in the background. Unlike football that just irritates me beyond control, if I walk into a pub and a football game is on, not world cup tho btw but some dreary league game on a dismal sunday afternoon, with a group of smelly old men sitting at the bar staring in silence, one hand on thigh, the other gripping a pint of bitter still on the bar, I’d leave. Dunno what it is about football that really cheeses me off…not cheesey footballs surely?<\/p>\n
On another note I am now actively seeking employment and will be going for what I want to do as apposed to what pays well. No point in a good salary if you dread getting up to earn it.
