I was given a letter yesterday by the Human Resouces Manager (a pointless title for a position invented to fill the Appointments section in the newspapers) and told to open it there and then&#8230; Oh shit I thought, maybe I&#8217;ll be reading that Appointments section myself very soon, but it was a letter to say I have been taken on permanantly following a review with the Head of Electronics. And I was emailed a job locally in a similar role offering me 10K more!!
