It&#8217;s not new for me venture out in these extremes, if ever there&#8217;s a massive thunderstorm looming, I jump in the car and head for the downs, I even went out at 4am during the peak of the 1987 hurricane which although was very exciting, got bit scarey.  I was unable to reach the beach to witness the swell as the spray was phenominal.
