More time off work! Was at Ninjutsu Tuesday night and was thrust into an unexpecting Gan Seki Nagi (Twisting Hip Throw), I was a little cack handed on this night and ended up 3 foot in the air only to have my fall broken by my left kidney. So a visit to A&E determined that there was no blood in my urine and kidney function was normal though kidney and surrounding tissue severely bruised, so in pain I ventured into the office to give them the news and my previous day’s paperwork. Pain killers seem to help and was prescribed Diazepam which monged me out just a bit and ended up falling asleep on Chain’s settee whilst watching a film I had no idea what was about. Anyway back to work tomorrow, will still be fragile so I’ve asked my manager Barry to give me light duties as apposed to heavy lifting or climbing ladders, through lofts etc. He also informed me Jon the plumber is off with a bad back too, I appreciate the sympathy Jon!
\nAnyway I have the day off and intend to do something useful now the Diazepam has worn off, my friend Mel has asked me why I have no pictures of the kids on my site, which is a good question but easily answered, and the answer is I have no idea what theme my site should take, most of it is just experimental, I was intending writing about phenylketonuria (PKU) and my own experiences in dealing with the condition but for some reason I just don’t have the attention or focus to be able to get into it. Ironically the reason for this is most likely because of the PKU! I have put myself back on the diet now for real, this will improve my attention as I have noticed times before – Infact I will contact the Metabolic Clinic at the Neurological Hospital now to book an appointment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Guess what?
